Business Support Top Up: FOI release
Information requested
“I would like to make a freedom of information request details of the number, total amount, and average amount for each payment from the January Business Support Top Up” and clarified with, “To clarify, I do not only mean that specific top up. I am including all top-ups regardless of sector.”

In response to your request for information regarding the January Business Support Top Up, please find the information in the below link to gov.scot, where all the up to date business support figures are published and frequently updated by the Scottish Government. The details of the “Top Ups” within Omicron funding are in the following tables in the above link. 1) Omicron Funding- Local Authority Delivered Funds –Financial Year 2021-22 (Table 2; section 2) 2) Omicron Funding- Sector Funding- Financial Year 2021-22 (Table 2; section 3)
Finally, the request for the average amount of each payment is not a figure the Scottish Government officially calculates as we use the “total value of awards paid to date (£m)”. However I have calculated it below manually for the three funds mentioned above.
