Information on the cost of producing an annual gender pay gap report for the Scottish Government, Transport Scotland and Education Scotland for the periods 2019-2020; 2020 2021 and 2021- 2022. The cost of producing each gender pay gap report, including a breakdown of the cost such as the number of FTE staff working on the report. Including the process of producing the report including research, drafting, proof reading, communications etc. Any internal assessments of the costs and benefits of producing the report.

information on the cost of producing an annual gender pay gap report for the Scottish Government, Transport Scotland and Education Scotland for the periods 2019-2020; 2020 2021 and 2021- 2022.Gender pay gap reporting requirements for the Scottish Government and its executive agencies including Transport Scotland and Education Scotland are covered by The Equality Act 2010 (Specific Duties) (Scotland) Regulations 2012 (as amended). I enclose the information you requested you asked for below: There were in the main five FTE staff involved in producing the Equality Outcomes and Mainstreaming Reports (2019 and 2021) for the period covered by your request. The cost of producing the Equality Outcomes and mainstreaming report including research, drafting, proof reading communications etc amounts to approximately £21,470 every two years. In terms of internal benefits of producing these reports, they are used to measure and to inform thinking as to the Scottish Government’s, and relevant agencies, approach to and compliance with the requirements of The Equality Act 2010 (Specific Duties) (Scotland) Regulations 2012 (as amended).
