Correspondence between the Scottish Government and the SFA regarding the League Cup Final held at Hampden Park from November 1 2021. Correspondence between the Scottish Government and the Chief Medical Officer regarding the league cup final and any advice the Scottish Government received from the CMO on whether or not this should go ahead from November 1 2021.

Attached is a copy of all of the information you requested in terms of dialogue between the Scottish Government and the SFA in the lead up to the League Cup Final. While the League Cup Final is not mentioned directly, the importance of Covid-19 Health and Safety messages through football clubs were discussed. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance under formal notice under section 17(1) the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested, as regards any correspondence between the Chief Medical Officer and Scottish Government on this issue.
