Information requested

1. During the calendar year of 2021, the ten longest wait times for a response to an FOI request received by the Scottish Government, including the specific topic and scope of each request.

Response

We have interpreted “During the calendar year the longest wait time for a response…” to mean ‘Of all the FOI responses issued to requests in 2021, which had the longest wait’. Therefore we have included information on the longest wait times for requests responded to under FOISA in 2021, even if the request was made in the previous year. Please note that the days are FOISA working days incorporating any public holidays and are timed from the date the request was received. 1. All of the information you have requested is contained in the attached spreadsheet which provides the case numbers with their respective time length of time, in FOISA working days, to provide a response, their specific topic and nature of release i.e. full, partial or no release. Under our duty to provide advice and assistance (section 15 of FOISA), we have also provided in the spreadsheet, links to the requests where information was released and they were subsequently published on the gov.scot website. About FOI The Scottish Government is committed to publishing all information released in response to Freedom of Information requests. View all FOI responses at http://www.gov.scot/foi-responses.
