COVID 19 statistics on vaccination rollout May 2021: FOI release
Information requested
Information on the vaccination rollout in Scotland. Specifically I would like to know the following for the month of May 2021: By Vaccination centre by day the number of vaccinations planned and the number of vaccinations actually administered.

I attach a copy of all of the information you requested in an Excel file. Please pay particular attention to the following notes: 1. Appointments shown are only those recorded using National Vaccination Scheduling System (NVSS); appointments scheduled locally, e.g. at GP practices, are not shown here. 2. Some boards do not use NVSS; specifically NHS Highland, NHS Orkney, NHS Shetland, and NHS Western Isles. 3. An estimate of drop in and other unscheduled vaccinations are also shown for the month of May, broken down by Health Board. It is not possible for these to be broken down further to vaccination centre. Note that some listed vaccination centres were also used as temporary drop-in centres and therefore will experience a decrease in scheduled appointments. These data are sourced from a management information dashboard, and information on the reasons for day to day variation in attendance is not held centrally. It is important to monitor progress from the start of the vaccination programme in December 2020 and avoid focusing solely on daily statistics or individual vaccination centres. To help understand overall progress of the vaccination programme, Public Health Scotland publish the latest daily uptake data by health board and local authority on their COVID-19 daily dashboard, covering the latest number of people who have received their first and second doses.
