Information requested

1) Minutes of meetings between Scottish Government officials (including the First Minister) and Scottish Greens co-leaders Patrick Harvie and/or Lorna Slater following the 2021 election. 2) Minutes of a meeting between the First Minister and Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar following the 2021 election.

Response

For part one of your request, our searches show that the First Minister met with Patrick Harvie and Lorna Slater in a government capacity on 25 May 2021. The decisions taken at this meeting were set out in a minute from the First Minister to Cabinet and senior SG officials. This is included at Annex A. Relevant details of the meeting, including attendees, will be recorded in the Ministerial meetings log and published on the Scottish Government website in due course, as is usual practice for Ministerial engagements. For part two of your request, our searches have found that there is no record of any minutes of meetings between the First Minister and the Scottish Labour leader. No minutes are held as the First Minister has not met Anas Sarwar in a Government capacity since the 2021 election. This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested. About FOI
