2021 Scottish Parliamentary elections correspondence: FOI release
Information requested
From 1 August 2020 to present: Copies of all correspondence (emails, texts, whatsapp message, briefings, memos, notes, handwritten notes, minutes of calls, minutes of meetings and/or otherwise) from and/or to Special Advisors and/or civil servants regarding using the 2021 Scottish Parliamentary elections as a mandate for independence.
Response
We have identified one item of information in scope of your request which is attached in Annex A of this letter. An exemption under Section 38(i)(b) (Personal Information) of FOISA applies to some of the information requested. The reasons why this exemption applies is explained in Annex B of this letter.
