Information requested

You asked us to provide copies of any correspondence (briefings, emails, minutes of calls, minutes of meetings, memos, texts and/or otherwise) between civils servants and/or Special Advisors and/or Scottish Government Cabinet members regarding the Scottish Welfare Fund being more or less effective dependent on the local authority administering it.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because exemptions under section s.38(1)(b) (personal information), s.25(1) (information otherwise accessible), s.30(b)(i) (free and frank provision of advice), s.30(b)(ii) (free and frank exchange of views) and s.30(c) (otherwise prejudice effective conduct of public affairs) of FOISA apply to that information.
