Healthcare budget for financial year 2017-18 to 2019-20: FOI release

You asked for "information on how much of the 2017/18 18/19 and 19/20 healthcare budget was: 1. Allocated to bonuses 2. 'saved' (ie: assigned to be spent but then not spent) and unused by the allocated areas it was assigned to."
Response
1. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have the information you have asked for because there is no allocation for bonuses. The Scottish Budget sets out proposed spending for the financial year. Please see the links below to the Scottish Budget for each of the financial years you have referred to. This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested. 2. All of the information you have requested is available on the Scottish Government's website. Under section 25(1) of FOISA, we do not have to give you information which is already reasonably accessible to you. The Scottish Budget sets out proposed spending for the financial year. The Scottish Government Consolidated Accounts set out actual spend, with explanatory notes on how this compares to budget included in the Financial Analysis section and Portfolio Outturn statements.
