Information requested

Minutes, reports, agendas and other meeting papers for the Health and Social Care Management Board, relating to consideration whether or not to escalate a board. For clarity, this would include discussions about escalating a board that did not result in an escalation decision. You also indicated that you were interested in information between 1 January 2019 and 31 December 2019.

Response

The Health and Social Care Management Board regularly discuss the performance of Health Boards within the context of the performance escalation framework. They discussed whether or not to escalate a Board at 7 of their meetings between 1 January 2019 and 31 December 2019. Please find attached copies of the agendas, along with the extracts from the full minutes. You can find a copy of the report published on 11 September 2019 on the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People and Department of Clinical Neurosciences response to the review of water, ventilation drainage and plumbing systems on the Scottish Government website. Under section 25(1) of FOISA, we do not have to give you information which is already reasonably accessible to you. If, however, you do not have internet access to obtain this information from the website listed, then please contact me again and I will send you a paper copy. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because the following exemptions, section 30(b)(ii) and section 38(1)(b) applies to that information.
