information related the attached article: https://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/news/scotland/uk-government-has-spent-more-than-10bn-inscotland-during-crisis-tories-say/ • Any internal emails, or any other form of correspondence including whatsapp messages, texts, phone calls and meetings in which the figures in the attached article are discussed; namely the £10 billion figure in UK Government support for Scotland. • Any internal analysis, briefings, memos or otherwise where the information in the attached article is discussed including the £10 billion in support as announced by the UK Government.

Response

I enclose a copy of all of the information you requested in the attached Annex, however, some small redactions have been made under Section 38(1)(b) of FOISA. An exemption under section 38(1)(b) of FOISA (personal information) applies to some of the information requested because it is personal data of a third party, i.e. the names/contact details of individuals, and disclosing it would contravene the data protection principles in Article 5(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation and in section 34(1) of the Data Protection Act 2018.
