Adjacent to the Belle Craig Roundabout situated on the A726 at Glasgow Road, Eaglesham.
On 9 May 2026, you requested information relating to tree management adjacent to the A726 at Eaglesham. We responded to your request on 21 May 2026 (our ref. 202600516456).
On 15 June 2026, you requested a review of our response. You stated:
“I respectfully request a review of the above EIR response.
I am dissatisfied with the response as Annex's A - I have been over-redacted.
I understand that you may not provide personal information (names in emails) however I request that job titles and departments be provided, which are not personal data.”
Response
I have reconsidered the applied exceptions and concluded that the original decision should be modified and can confirm that we are now releasing information.
I have provided further information addressing each part of the review in relation to the exceptions applied below.
Information was redacted because an exception under regulation 11(2) of the EIRs (personal information) applies to some of the information requested because it is personal data of a third party and disclosing it would contravene the data protection principles in Article 5(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation and in section 34(1) of the Data Protection Act 2018. This exception is not subject to the 'public interest test', so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exception.
Our response on 21 May 2026 contained Annexes A to I. As part of my review, I have examined the redactions applied to these Annexes. My findings are listed below.
Annex A – No redactions were applied.
Annex B – I am content that the redaction applied under regulation 11(2) is appropriate.
Annex C – No redactions were applied.
Annex D – I am content that the redaction applied under regulation 11(2) is appropriate.
Annex E – I consider that some of the redactions applied under regulation 11(2) are still appropriate, but that some additional information may be released. Please see attached amended Annex E.
Annex F - I consider that some of the redactions applied under regulation 11(2) are still appropriate, but that some additional information may be released. Please see attached amended Annex F.
Annex G - I consider that some of the redactions applied under regulation 11(2) are still appropriate, but that some additional information may be released. Please see attached amended Annex G.
Annex H - I consider that some of the redactions applied under regulation 11(2) are still appropriate, but that some additional information may be released. Please see attached amended Annex H.
Annex I - I consider that some of the redactions applied under regulation 11(2) are still appropriate, but that some additional information may be released. Please see attached amended Annex I.
