Correspondence regarding annual health checks for people with learning disabilities: FOI release
Information requested
I would like to request the following information:
1. A copy of the minutes of the meeting that took place on Thursday 5th December.
2. A copy of any WhatsApp or Text messages sent to the FM or written by the FM that relates to Health checks since 15th November 2024 to 20th December 2024.
3. A copy of any emails sent to or received by the First Minister or their office relating to annual health checks for people with learning disabilities on November 28th and 29th.
4. A copy of any emails sent to or received by Minister for Social Care or their officer relating to annual health checks for people with learning disabilities on November 28th and 29th.
5. A copy of any emails sent to or received by Cabinet Secretary for Health or their officer relating to annual health checks for people with learning disabilities on November 28th and 29th.
Response
I enclose a copy of most of the information you requested in the format you asked for.
An exemption(s) under section(s) s.38(1) of FOISA applies to some of the information you have requested. It would include names, email addresses and personal information and is therefore not included in the response.
The answer to your questions are;
1. A copy of the minutes from the 5 December meeting of the National Implementation Group are enclosed.
2. There are no Whatsapp or text messages held by the FM in the timeframe requested relating to annual health checks.
3. There was one email received by the FM within the scope of your request and a copy of which is enclosed with this response.
4.5. The was one email which was received by both the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Minister for Social Care, Mental Wellbeing and Sport within the scope of your request, a copy of which is also enclosed with this response.
