Information requested

From the Adult Disability Payments high level statistics is it possible to get a breakdown of the number people in receipt of ADP for each condition from F00 – F99.

The high level statistics for the total in receipt from category F00-F99 is available (table 19). However I would like to know the claimant for each individual category – ie F01, F02, F03.

Response

Please find the information you have requested in the attached document.

Please note that figures in our published statistics are rounded to the nearest 5 for disclosure control and may not match the total sum due to rounding.

An exemption under Section 38(1)(b) of FOISA (personal information) applies to some of the information requested because it is personal data of a third party and disclosing it would contravene the data protection principles in Article 5(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation and in section 34(1) of the Data Protection Act 2018. This is because we believe that to disclose the number of primary disabilities, where the number is five or less, could lead to the identification of individuals.
