Violence against women and girls funding: FOI release
Information requested
The Scottish Government announced that more than 100 organisations will receive £19 million in new funding to tackle violence against women and girls.
Can you confirm:
1)The breakdown of how much funding each of the organisations will receive?
2) A breakdown of funding received by these organisations over the last three years?
Response
I enclose a copy of some of the information you requested in the attached table. This is in response to your second request for a breakdown of funding received by Delivering Equally Safe organisations over the last three years. I have provided information for 3.5 years as the first funding period was for 18 months (July 2021 - March 2023).
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested. This is in relation to your first request for a breakdown of how much funding each of the organisations will receive. The Scottish Government does not have the information you have asked for because funding amounts for the 2025/26 financial year have not yet been confirmed.
As such, I hereby provide you with formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested.
When funding amounts have been confirmed, this information will be available publicly and published online on Scottish Governments website. This information can be shared with you on request when made available in the new year.
