Information requested

1. How many people are currently being bullied, harassed and discriminated against in the NHS?

2. How many people have committed suicide due to bullying/harassment in the NHS?

Response

The answer to your question is:

1. From April 1, 2022 to March 31 2023, NHSScotland Health Boards reported a total of 210 cases of bullying and harassment that were escalated to formal stage. This data was supplied by the Boards as part of the annual Staff Governance Monitoring Exercise. These are the most current details held by the Scottish Government.

2. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance under section 17(1) of FOISA, the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested.
