In relation to job vacancy 2024-9096 Rent Officer, I would like to know: 1. How many candidates were interviewed? 2. How many people are on the reserve list for this role?

9 candidates were interviewed.

Number of people on the Reserve List-We have withheld the precise number of candidates because here a request asks for the number of candidates and that number is so small that release of the information could lead to the identification of the individuals we customarily present a number range. This information being exempt under section 38(1)(b) of FOISA. Disclosing it would contravene the data protection principles in Article 5(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation and in section 34(1) of the Data Protection Act 2018. This exemption is not subject to the ‘public interest test’, so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the informationoutweighs the public interest in applying the exemption.

While the details of candidate data are not subject to GDPR, their identification in these circumstance may harm the interests and expectation of privacy of their those persons.
