A836 road accident data: FOI release
Information requested
Please could you let me know how many road traffic accidents there have been on the A836 between Lairg and Bonar Bridge between 1 September 2013 and 1 September 2023. Also could you let me have information regarding how many of these accidents were fatal, and how many resulted in injuries.

The following tables show the number of injury collisions and resulting casualties on the A836 between Lairg and Bonar Bridge between 1 September 2013 and 1 September 2023. Please note that where there are missing years it means that there were no injury collisions on that stretch of the road. Please note that the figures for 2023 are provisional as they are based on monthly returns received thus far from Police Scotland in 2023, with the most recent returns being received on 10th September 2023. This may be an incomplete picture of casualties up to that date due to a slight lag between records processed by Police Scotland and data availability. These figures are also subject to change due to subsequent corrections and late records.
