Response

The transfer of people currently in receipt of Disability Living Allowance or Personal Independence Payment from the Department for Work and Pensions to Adult Disability Payment has not yet begun, and as such this information is not held. Social Security Scotland has been receiving applications for Adult Disability Payment in the Perth and Kinross, Dundee and Western Isles local authority areas as part of a pilot since 21 March 2022. This will be followed by a gradual rollout before national launch on 29 August 2022. Statistics for Social Security Scotland relating to specific benefits, including where relevant the transfer of clients from the Department for Work and Pensions to Social Security Scotland, can be found here: https://www.socialsecurity.gov.scot/about/statistics/social-security-scotland-statistics-publications A first set of statistics on Adult Disability Payment, covering to 30 April 2022, will be released on 14 June 2022.
