Information requested

Information on the number of people who have been secured support by Scottish Ministers under Section 9 (3) of the Human Trafficking and Exploitation (Scotland) Act 2015 for such a period as they think appropriate after a conclusive determination has been made by a competent authority (following a referral into the National Referral Mechanism) that they are a victim of human trafficking. You requested the total number of people provided this support per year for each calendar year 2016-2021.

I enclose a copy of some of the information you requested. This information is held by financial year (1 April – 31 March) rather than calendar year and relates to adults receiving support under section 9 (3) of the Human Trafficking and Exploitation (Scotland) Act 2015 and regulation 3 (4) of the Human Trafficking and Exploitation (Scotland) Act 2015 (Support for Victims) Regulations 2018.
