Information requested
Details of the following information regarding the Scottish Government civil service: 1. A list of all teams within each directorate and the number of FTE employees in each team. 3. Any diagrammatic maps the Government has which illustrate either of the above.
Response
I attach a copy of most of the information you requested in pdf format. 'Division' is the structure level below Directorate and we have interpreted this as the teams in your request. Please note that some people may temporarily be unassigned to a division or directorate in our structure due to organisational change. In this case they have been included in the total for the relevant directorate general but will not appear in the FTE count for the underlying structure so there may be some discrepancies in the totals. Please note that the structure of the government as stored in the electronic HR system changes frequently. Units at all levels of the organisational structure can be created, combined, renamed or removed on the system. The information provided should therefore be viewed as a snapshot and is based on the information in the electronic HR system on the specified date (30th September 2021) only which is the most recently published. More information on the structure of the civil service can be found at https://www.gov.scot/about/howgovernment-is-run/civil-service/. About FOI
