Spend on external public relations (PR) and communications firms: FOI release
Information requested
“The amount spent by the Scottish Government on using outside PR/communications firms in the last three years. Please break this down by year. Please include details of the firms used (including name), how much they were paid and projects they were hired to work on.”
Response
The Scottish Government uses the services of external public relations agencies to provide support to Scottish Government marketing campaigns. Please see attached excel spreadsheet with PR spend by agency with a note of the campaigns they have worked on. The spend for this current financial year 2021/2022 is up to 31 January 2022, as spend for February and March has still to be reconciled. About FOI
