‘1) The number and names of organisations that the Scottish Government consulted with prior to the launch of the Bail and Release from Custody Arrangements consultation. Please provide the names of any organisations that were consulted with after 18 May 2021 until 15 November 2021.’

I enclose a copy of all of the information you requested. Scottish Government has a record of engaging with 15 organisations prior to the publication of the Bail and Release from Custody Arrangements Consultation on 15 November 2020. Please note that 2 of these are umbrella organisations with wide membership consisting of other organisations. Below please find the name of each organisation who were engaged with between 18 May 2021 and 14 November: 1. Community Justice Scotland 2. COSLA 3. Criminal Justice Voluntary Sector Forum 4. Victims’ Organisation Collaboration Forum Scotland On publication of the consultation on 15 November, over 300 organisations and representatives were alerted to the launch and encouraged to respond, and engagement with stakeholders has continued during the consultation phase.
