Information requested

1. Please advise the status of all Scottish Citizens civil rights and liberties and human rights in relation to the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR. 2. In particular please advice any lawful basis for removing a natural persons inalienable rights and human rights being a subsection of ICCPR?

1. The information on individual rights given to Scottish citizens by current UK data protection legislation is available from the website of the Information Commissioner's Office: Individual rights | ICO. Under section 25(1) of FOISA, we do not have to give you information which is already reasonably accessible to you. 2. The answer to your question is that the ICCPR has not been incorporated into domestic law and so does not have any direct bearing on the way in which data protection rules apply in Scotland.
