All reports and correspondence, including letters and emails, on the Scottish Government’s plans for a state owned energy company, since Nicola Sturgeon announced the plans in 2017. 1. Please provide the full costs of spending on work towards this, by the Scottish Government, since that point. 2. Please also state how many government employees have worked on it during that time

Therefore, taking account of all the circumstances of this case, we have considered if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption. We have found that, on balance, the public interest lies in favour of upholding the exemption. We recognise that there is some public interest in release in order to promote open and transparent government. However, this is outweighed by the public interest in this document's released with additional context provided by supporting documents. This will be published within the next 12 weeks.
