Please provide information about the latest campaigns for Client Advisers at Social Security Scotland. Specifically:
1. How many people were offered a job? 2. How many of those were already employed working this role through Pertemps agency? 3. How many were recruited who will have to be trained? 4. How many people do you have on the reserve list?

We have interpreted your request to be referring to individuals employed by Pertemps who are currently assigned to Social Security Scotland and to the following campaigns for Client Advisers - IRC86303 (Glasgow) and IRC87497 (Dundee).
The questions refer to live recruitment campaigns where the offer process is ongoing. The information is correct as at 20 August 2021. Candidates who are successful at interview are offered posts in merit order with those performing best being offered roles first.
The information you have requested is as follows:
Glasgow Campaign - IRC86303 Dundee Campaign - IRC87497 1. How many people were offered a job? 98 offers have been made to date. 48 offers have been made to date. 2. How many of those were already employed working this role through Pertemps agency? The offer process is ongoing. 29 offers have been made to Pertemps staff. A further 9 Pertemps staff are on a reserve list and it is anticipated that all candidates on reserve list will be offered permanent posts, subject to pre-employment checks, within the 9 month reserve period. A further 13 Pertemps staff are on a reserve list and it is anticipated that all candidates on reserve list will be offered permanent posts, subject to pre- employment checks, within the 9 month reserve period. 3. How many were recruited who will have to be trained? All of those recruited will require to be trained. The focus of these most recent recruitment campaigns is in preparation for the launch of Child disability and Adult disability benefits. These are new benefits, different from what the Agency currently delivers. The same continuous training and upskilling will be required for new recruits as for those who have previous experience from working within the organisation.
