Information requested

I wish to make a Subject Access Request for the Health Ministers I.T Code of Conduct.

Response

Under Data Protection legislation, a Subject Access Request for information held by an organisation can only be made by the individual to whom the data pertains, or a solicitor, next of kin, or legal guardian acting on that individual's behalf. Therefore we are treating your request instead as a Freedom of Information request regarding the IT Code of Conduct as it applies to Ministers. If this is not the case and you wish to pursue a Subject Access Request for information specifically about you, then please email CEU@gov.scot stating that you wish to make a Subject Access Request for your own personal data. All serving Scottish Ministers must comply with both the Scottish Ministerial Code - Scottish Ministerial Code: 2018 edition - gov.scot (www.gov.scot) - and the Scottish Government's IT Code of Conduct. The IT Code of Conduct applies to both staff and Ministers in terms of how they use and access government platforms, systems and data - and is not specific to any individual Minister. It is published on Scottish Government's intranet and attached is a copy of this. About FOI The Scottish Government is committed to publishing all information released in response to Freedom of Information requests. View all FOI responses at http://www.gov.scot/foi-responses.
