Response

Can you tell me how many people have been spoken to by contact tracers for each week since May 3rd? You may find useful some information already published on the PHS website. There is a weekly “COVID-19 statistical report”, available here. Contact Tracing figures for the week ending 18 July 2021 (based on test date), are detailed in Table 4, which provides a recent time trend. This table can be found in the “Test and Protect” section of the report. The PHS “COVID-19 statistical report” also links to an interactive dashboard which is publically available and contains more detail on cases by health board and time performance measures. Data can be downloaded from the dashboard and will give a weekly breakdown of cases. The most recent dashboard, from 28 July 2021, can be found here: Dashboard - COVID-19 Statistical Report - 28 July 2021 - COVID-19 statistical report - Publications - Public Health Scotland. Under section 25(1) of FOISA, we do not have to give you information which is already reasonably accessible to you. For each of those weeks can you say how many codes have been generated for the Protect Scotland App? See attached table. For each week, are you able to say how many codes have been entered into the Protect Scotland App? See attached table. Are you able, for each of the weeks, to say how many people with positive contacts did not have a code generated for the Protect Scotland App? Due to the anonymous nature of the app, it is not possible to track how many people who were notified they were a close contact became positive themselves, and therefore it is not possible to know how many of these positive contacts were then issued a code for the Protect Scotland app. About FOI
