Information requested

The (intended) implementation date when annual reports (or monthly meeting minutes) will start recording statistical information (e.g. from the Nations Records of Scotland) in the NSPLG's ongoing success in reducing the Scottish suicide rate by 20% in 2022 (from the 2017 baseline). The (intended) implementation date for when there will be appropriately funded input from the National Records of Scotland (NRS) on the NSPLG.

Response

I can confirm that there are no plans to record statistical information on suicide rates in NSPLG annual reports or meeting minutes. This information is published annually by National Records of Scotland (NRS) and is in the public domain. The NSPLG has no plans to receive appropriately funded input from the National Records of Scotland (NRS). However, where appropriate to its work, the NSPLG reviews relevant information published by NRS and other organisations. About FOI
