You asked for “A list of each of the departments and/or teams that exist within Social Security Scotland (including the number of them and names of them), with details of the number of staff that are part of each team and/or department.”

The information you requested can be found in Annex 1 attached to this response.
The information has been extracted from the Scottish Government HR system. It is an administrative database which is continually updated when workers join and leave Social Security Scotland and personal details change. The latest workforce information published by Social Security Scotland on 15 September presents a “snapshot” of the data as it appeared on the HR system on 30 June: https://www.gov.scot/publications/social-security-scotland-workforce-information-june-2020/
The information used to form the response to this FOI was collected more recently and provides more detail than is routinely published by Social Security Scotland.
