Response

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government has the information you have requested.

Those performance deductions attributable to Contract Year 8 (October 2023 to September 2024) amount to £4,102,101

For Contract Year 9 (October 20024 to September 2025), the provisional value is £4,335,376. However, this still requires verification, and so may be subject to change.

How performance is monitored under the new CHFS3 Agreement that commenced 1 October 2025 is detailed in the governance arrangements. Details of which are available on Transport Scotland website: Clyde and Hebrides Ferry Service 3 | CHFS3 Governance Documents | Transport Scotland
