Information requested

Please tell me the mode of transport used by Environment Secretary Roseanna Cunningham to travel to the Under2 Coalition climate change summit in December 2019

Response

Roseanna Cunningham MSP, Cabinet Secretary for the Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform attended the United Nations 25th Conference of the Parties (COP 25) in Madrid, Spain from Friday 06 December 2019 to Wednesday 11 December 2019. The Cabinet Secretary travelled to and from COP 25 by flights from Scotland. Scottish Government collect a carbon emissions levy on all business flights, which aims to compensate for the carbon that our business travel generates. The levy raises funds that are put into projects on our estate such as solar panels. For information, all Ministerial travel is published proactively by the Scottish Government and is available at: https://www.gov.scot/collections/ministerial-engagements-travel-and-gifts/
