The advisory group is not being asked to consider rates relief for independent schools (in respect of recommendation 24 of the Barclay review). Rather, the advisory group is only being asked to consider implementation of certain
other recommendations of the Barclay review, as per the implementation plan published at:

Other channels of stakeholder engagement will continue to inform implementation in respect of curtailing charity relief for independent schools. No information is held on titles or roles in respect of the advisory group.
