All briefings and advice materials relating to public service reform provided to Ivan McKee in his first 10 days in the role.

I enclose a copy of some the documents you requested.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information contained within these because an exemption under sections 38(1) (b) (personal information) and section 29(1)(a) (policy formulation), of FOISA applies to that information.
In addition, one document identified as within scope of your request, a Cabinet paper prepared for Cabinet consideration on 26 May 2026, has been withheld in full under sections 29(1)(a) (formulation or development of government policy) and 29(1)(b) (Ministerial communications) of FOISA. The document relates throughout to the formulation and development of government policy and to Cabinet-level Ministerial communications. Following consideration of the public interest test, we concluded that the public interest in maintaining a private space for Ministers and officials to consider and discuss policy outweighed the public interest in disclosure at this time.
