Response

Scottish Government hiring managers must adhere to merit based, fair and open competition principles, guided by the Civil Service Commission and Scottish Government Resourcing Policy.

Key responsibilities include creating diverse, competent interview panels, utilising structured interviews (often on Success Profiles), and making reasonable adjustments for candidates to ensure inclusive recruitment.
