In your letter, you requested the following information:

Part 1: This FOI is from November 2023. Scottish Government staffing numbers: FOI release - gov.scot . Can I re-ask the four questions within this please to establish the most up to date information?

Senior Civil Service Pay - updated from March 2023 or most recent compilation as the only recent list refers to March 2022 on the Scottish Government homepage. Number of staff in each directorate of the Scottish Government. Number of SCS staff in the Scottish Government. Number and grades of private office staff within Ministerial Private Offices.

Part 2: In relation to a previous FOI Education and Skills budgets 2021-2024: FOI release - gov.scot, the requester asks for the information to be updated to contain actuals for 2024/5 for the following points.

The total headcount of employees covered by the Education and Skills portfolio, The total FTE figure for the Education and Skills portfolio, The workforce costs for the Education and Skills portfolio.
