How many remedial service statements (RSS) have been issued by the SPPA since 1st April to the following classes of members of the Police Pension Schemes?
a) Retired by 1/10/23 – formerly protected
b) Retired by 1/10/23 – formerly unprotected
c) Retired by 1/10/23 – formerly taper protected
Response
a) Retired by 1/10/23 – formerly protected. 394 RSS have been issued since 01 April 2025 to Protected members of the Police Pension scheme.
b) Retired by 1/10/23 – formerly unprotected. 42 RSS have been issued since 01 April 2025 to Unprotected members of the Police Pension scheme.
c) Retired by 1/10/23 – formerly taper protected. 240 RSS have been issued since 01 April 2025 to Tapered members of the Police Pension scheme.
