Correspondence relating to the department of government efficiency: FOI release
Information requested
Since May 2024, all discussions within the Scottish Government regarding the creation of a ‘department of government efficiency.
Response
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested.
You may be interested to note that a similar question was asked through Parliamentary questions which was responded to in written form and I have included as an Annex (B).
The reasons why we do not have the information are explained in the Annex A to this letter.
