Information requested

1. Data on properties subject to the Additional Dwelling Supplement, more specifically, what proportion of the properties purchased in a given year/month were for the Private Rented Sector, or holiday/second homes. I am looking for data from before the 25th of January 2019, after the 25th January 2019, and after the 16th December 2022, if possible.

2. Data on the proportion of property sales that were subject to the ADS since its introduction.

3. Data on average rent increases since the introduction of the ADS.

4. Data on the number of properties rented by the council as emergency or temporary housing in the last 10 years, who they were rented for, and at what cost.

Response

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because Section 17 (information not held) of FOISA, we do not hold this information.

However, for part of your request, we have included the information at Annex A to this document.

Under Section 25 (information otherwise accessible) of FOISA we do not have to provide information which is already in the public domain however we have sign posted where you can access this information at Annex A also.
