Information requested

How much money has the Scottish Government spent on its four-day week pilot for itself and its quangos, with a breakdown of costs? How much money has the government given to Autonomy for this pilot, with a breakdown of costs?

Response

Work is continuing on the Four Day Working Week (4DWW) Public Sector pilot with South of Scotland Enterprise and Accountant in Bankruptcy working closely with The Autonomy Institute, our expert partner. No additional budget has been allocated to either organisation to deliver the pilot. Funding of £100,000 was allocated to Autonomy through a Grant Fund Award in the 2023-24 financial year with an expectation that the total spend for 2024-25 will be £80,000. Scottish Government is not participating in the 4DWW pilot.
