This request has been interpreted as seeking the costs of the court case covering proceedings in both the Outer and Inner Houses of the Court of Session, the Inner House having issued its Opinion in April 2024.

The Scottish Government spent £83,609.07 on costs related to the court case brought by The Open Seas Trust against Scottish Ministers. The following table shows the costs broken down by financial year:
