Information requested
What work pertaining to the Scottish Industrial Energy Transformation Fund, the Emerging Energies Technology Fund, and the Hydrogen Innovation Fund was conducted by Burness Paull seconded employees. For example, were they advising on companies who should be awarded money from these funds or the criteria for awarding funding etc. All companies who were awarded money from these funds. Who requested these individuals be seconded to the Scottish Government, when this request was made and how long the secondment is for.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because exemptions under Section 25 (information otherwise accessible); and Section 38(1)(b) (third party data) applies to that information. The reasons for the application of these exemptions are explained in Annex A to this letter.
