I have now completed my review of our response to your request (Ref: 202400430224) under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA) for:
A copy of all emails in the inbox of any of the Scottish Government Cabinet Secretaries in which ‘Oasis’ or ‘Oasis tickets’ is mentioned. You can search this by putting those words into the search box bit. Do this for each cabinet secretary. The time frame for this would be 25th August to 4th September.
In response, we stated that a search of each Cabinet Secretary mailbox, using the search terms "Oasis" and "Oasis tickets", for the time period requested, was conducted and no information was found.
Following receipt of your request for a review, a further search was conducted and I have concluded that a different decision should be substituted. Several references to “Oasis” and Oasis tickets” contained in media monitoring summaries, press cuts and associated documents had been incorrectly excluded from our original response. Relevant extracts from these documents have been compiled and are enclosed at Annex B. An extract from a submission to the First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care on an unrelated topic included a single paragraph reference to the Oasis concerts to be held at Murrayfield in August 2025. The relevant extract has also been included in Annex B.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because an exemption under Section 38(1)(b) – Personal data applies. The reasons why this exemption applies is explained in Annex A to this letter.
