Information relating to Tom Arthur’s visit to Hampden Park, Glasgow, on 25/5/24. Specifically, you asked for:
1. All details and/or minutes of discussions he had during that visit regarding sport and investment.
2. All details regarding how Mr Arthur’s visit was arranged.

The Scottish FA regularly invites Ministers to international matches and domestic cup finals. These provide a good opportunity to engage with a number of football stakeholders on how different Scottish Government portfolios can work with football clubs and organisations to support their local communities. On the occasion of the Scottish Cup Final in May 2024, the First Minister was invited, but wasn't able to attend. The invitation was subsequently extended to Mr Arthur who was able to accept and represent the Scottish Government.
