"The total cost to produce and analysis the following consultations?", including Consultation on devolving powers for a Scottish Building Safety Levy.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested.
This consultation was jointly undertaken with HM Treasury of the UK Government who took responsibility for its associated costs. I can confirm that the cost to the Scottish Government was nil for the production, analysis, and publication of this consultation. This does not include a consideration of Scottish Government staff costs, as the Scottish Government does not routinely record information on staff time spent on individual pieces of work. The consultation was prepared by existing staff as part of their regular duties.
We therefore do not hold any further information on the total cost to produce and analyse the consultation as this information would be held by the UK Government who were responsible for its associated costs.
