A list of all external meetings where the subject of the Beyond Oil and Gas Alliance was discussed since July 2023. All briefing materials and agendas of these meetings. All minutes of these meetings. All correspondence relating to these meetings.

I enclose a copy of some of the information you asked for; a list of external meetings where the subject of the Beyond Oil and Gas Alliance was discussed since July 2023 and a minute of one of these meetings.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested. Therefore we are applying the exception at regulation 10(4)(a) of the EIRs. This applies as in some cases, the meetings held by the First Minister and the Cabinet Secretary, particularly at COP28, were arranged at short notice, or were informal and/or brief, meaning they went ahead without formal written briefings. Equally, Scottish Government does not regularly hold correspondence for longer than three months.
With regard to some of the information, under regulation 6(1)(b) of the EIRs, we do not have to give you information which is already publicly available and easily accessible to you in another form or format. Briefings and minutes for one of the relevant meetings held at COP28 have already been released, please see them here. If, however, you do not have internet access to obtain this information from the website(s) listed, then please contact me again and I will send you a paper copy.
