Total spend on produce from outside of Scotland by the catering facilities in St Andrews House and Victoria Quay.

Response

The Scottish Government does not carry out produce purchasing for the Catering contract and therefore does not hold this information. All produce purchasing on the contract is the responsibility of the Catering contractor, BaxterStorey, through their supply chain and is subject to commercial confidentiality.

The Scottish Government contract with BaxterStorey asks that the contractor purchases fresh and seasonal produce where possible on the contract.

The table below shows percentage of Scottish and non-Scottish purchasing across the contract.
