Data Protection Impact Assessments were introduced in the Data Protection Act 2018, therefore do not apply prior to 25 May 2018. For investigations after this date The Accountant in Bankruptcy (AiB) does not consider it necessary to carry out a DPIA for an individual investigation as the information is processed under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(c) and (e) and is set out in the AiB Privacy Policy which can be found on our website at Accountant in Bankruptcy - Scotland's Insolvency Service - Privacy and data protection (aib.gov.uk).
