Information requested

How many complaints against Scottish Forestry have been partially or fully upheld since 2012?

Response

Please accept my apologies for the delay to our reply. The reason was that under our Model Complaints Handling Procedure (MCHP), Stage 1 Frontline complaints may be dealt with by our local Conservancy offices, meaning not all relevant files are not held centrally, and we took time to manually review our files and responses to ensure as complete a response as possible.

Since its formation on 1 April 2019, according to our records Scottish Forestry has received 60 complaints, of which 2 were upheld, 14 partially upheld, and 44 not upheld.

Where complaints have been escalated from Stage 1 to Stage 2 under our Complaints Handling Procedure, these have been counted as a single complaint.
