Correspondence and minutes of meetings between SG and owners of BiFab manufacturing yard 2020-2022: FOI release
Information requested
All (a) correspondence and (b) minutes of meetings and discussions, from during the last 2 years, between the Scottish Government and the owners of the BiFab manufacturing yard in Fife. Please be aware that the yard has changed ownership during that period. A copy of communications with each set of owners is requested. A copy of any internal Scottish Government documents (a) that were prepared to support ministers, or (b) by ministers, in relation to (i) the meetings, discussions and exchange of correspondence referred to in question 1. Whether ministers have kept in contact with the firm since the sale took place, whether concerns have been raised with ministers over shortages of labour and whether ministers have taken any action.

In response to the question in your clarification – No concerns have been raised with Ministers. Ministers have not taken action.
